The sky used to be the way we measured time: orreries, astrolabes, sundials. This is that instrument, moving in real time — a live astronomical clock.

How to set it up

Go to:
If you want to lock your iPad to the Cosmic Watch app, here's how:
- Enable "Guided Access": Settings / General / Accessibility / Guided Access / switch to "ON"
- Launch the Cosmic Watch app
- Triple-click the Home button
- Tap "Start" in the upper right
To exit, triple-click the Home button again and enter your passcode (if configured) — you'll land back on the Guided Access screen, where you can End or Resume it.
Depending on your device, you may be able to set the screen timeout to never:
- Settings / Display / Sleep
- If you don't see this option, enable Developer options first: Settings / About / Build Number / tap the build number several times
- Go back to Settings and choose: Developer Options / Stay awake
Now your tablet stays awake while it's charging.
