Tonight the biggest meteor shower of the year

With no moon light interfering with the show, this is a great year for watching the Perseid meteor shower. It’ll peak on the nigths of August 11, 12 and 13. The meteor shower will be more visible at the darkest hours, between 22:00 and dawn on thursday morning. It radiates from the constellation of perseus, just below the W of cassiopeia stargazer can expect to see as many as 100 meteors an hour streak across the night sky.
